Renergy Solar advancing its projects in Tanzania

Renergy Solar's recent delegation trip to Tanzania marks a significant milestone in our journey. We engaged with key stakeholders to advance our current 13.5MW solar project, which is poised to make a lasting impact on the region's energy landscape.

With a 20-year Power Purchase Agreement already in place with Tanzania Electric Supply Company, and the project in its final technical design phase, we're on track for commissioning in Q1 2026.

A highlight of our trip was the honor of meeting with the Hon. Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Energy, Dr. Doto Mashaka Biteko. The Minister's appreciation for our project underscores its importance and sets the stage for future collaborations.

Our CEO, Mr. Mads V. Sørensen, expressed his satisfaction, stating, ''Tanzania is emerging as a beacon of progress in East Africa, and Renergy Solar is proud to contribute to its growth.''

Additionally, we had fruitful discussions with H.E. Ambassador Mette Nørgaard Dissing-Spandet and Mr. Oscar Raphael Mkude from the Danish Royal Embassy in Dar Es Salaam. The trade council have been of great assistance through this journey.
