Exploring New Business Opportunities with the African Development Bank

This week, our CEO had the pleasure of attending a seminar at Industriens Hus focused on the business opportunities with the African Development Bank Group Group (AfDB). The event, organized by Danish Industry (DI) and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark (MFA), brought together a great delegation from AfDB and various Danish companies eager to explore possibilities for collaboration in Africa.

A special thank you to Sebastian Rodas Medeiros from MFA and Emil Stub from DI for organizing this event. It was a great opportunity to meet key individuals from the AfDB and discuss potential future engagements.

In Renergy Solar we focus on delivering renewable energy solutions in Africa, and AfDB is particularly relevant to our business. Their support could significantly improve the bankability of our projects, which is crucial for our markets.

That said, we have experienced that working with Development Finance Institutions (DFIs) can sometimes involve more rigid and time-consuming processes compared to private sector institutions. In an evolving geopolitical landscape, it's critical to streamline these procedures to ensure DFIs remain competitive as alternative opportunities are emerging.
