APRA Investment Forum Nairobi
This week Renergy Solar participated in the Investment Forum for Accelerated Partnership for Renewables in Africa (APRA) held in Nairobi. Our five-member team included Mr. Kwame Oppong from Ghana and our local partner Mr. Leland Salano.
We had the privilege of meeting with the Honourable Cabinet Secretary for Energy and Petroleum, Mr. Opiyo Wandayi, where we discussed our 40 MW solar PV project in West Kenya. The exchange was productive, and we look forward to further engagements.
The International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA) did an outstanding job organizing the event, creating an energetic atmosphere conducive to building relationships and facilitating matchmaking with investors and financial institutions.
We are especially grateful for the support from GET.invest and Power Africa and are excited about potential collaborations in our key target markets.
